This contract opportunity is ideal for compassionate, adaptable social workers experienced with K-12 students or dedicated to serving a high school-only caseload. Youll work closely with educators, families, and administrators to help each student thrive and overcome barriers to learning.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Social Worker credential appropriate for school settings
• Experience working with K-12 students, or specifically with high school students
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Empathy and a positive, strengths-based approach to student support

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect social work services to students individually and in groups
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and counselors to address student needs
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies for academic, behavioral, or social challenges
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans
• Engage families and connect them with community resources as appropriate
• Advocate for students and foster a safe, inclusive school environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant policies
