Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Social Worker
• Prior experience with K-12 student populations is highly desirable
• Strong communication and collaborative skills with staff, students, and families
• Familiarity with crisis intervention, behavioral management, and community resources
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and case management for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Develop and implement intervention strategies in collaboration with teachers and administrators
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, offering insights on student needs and progress
• Connect students and families with relevant community resources and external agencies as appropriate
• Facilitate small group and classroom sessions on topics such as social skills, conflict resolution, and coping strategies
• Maintain thorough, confidential records and prepare necessary reports in accordance with school and legal requirements
