Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid and current state social work licensure or certification appropriate for a school setting
• Demonstrated experience in a school-based or youth-focused social work role preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to connect with diverse student populations
• Proficiency in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and case management
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students unique social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement targeted intervention strategies individually and in small groups
• Work in conjunction with teachers, administrators, and parents to design effective support plans
• Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community organizations to connect students with essential services
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the creation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or 504 Plans as required
• Maintain detailed, confidential documentation and reporting
• Provide crisis support and respond effectively to urgent student concerns
