Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Current state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker or eligibility to obtain
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of family systems, developmental stages, and crisis intervention
• Skilled in collaboration, advocacy, and building rapport across diverse groups
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies
• Serve as a liaison between school and community resources, ensuring students and families receive appropriate support
• Conduct assessments and create action plans to address barriers to academic success
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs, 504 plans, or student support plans as needed
• Deliver crisis intervention and conflict resolution services
• Document services provided and maintain accurate records in accordance with policy and confidentiality laws
