What youll need:

• Valid social work license in the state of New Jersey
• Previous experience within school environments (elementary, middle, and/or high school preferred)
• Proficiency in crisis intervention, counseling, and social-emotional learning supports
• Strong understanding of community resources and ability to build collaborative relationships
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and case management skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team

Core responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing educational, social, or emotional challenges
• Develop, implement, and assess intervention plans tailored to diverse student populations
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students holistic needs
• Participate in student support team meetings and provide expertise in behavior management and intervention strategies
