Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a school social worker
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school or similar setting
• Familiarity with addressing diverse student populations and a range of social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and community partners
• Compassionate, student-centered approach to providing support and advocacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify student strengths and areas requiring support
• Provide individual and group counseling tailored to students emotional and social growth
• Develop and implement intervention plans addressing academic, behavioral, and social barriers to learning
• Partner with teachers, parents, and administrators to design strategies that enhance student engagement and well-being
• Collaborate with community agencies to connect families with local resources
• Support crisis intervention efforts as needed
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in accordance with school policies and legal guidelines
