Make a positive impact working as a dedicated social worker supporting students and school communities near Irwin, PA! Two contract opportunities are available, both onsite and full-time (35 hours per week), working with students in highly supportive environments. Each role offers the chance to provide critical services and advocacy, ensuring students emotional and behavioral needs are met.

Position 1 supports emotional support programs and a partial hospitalization program, providing direct support to students navigating emotional and mental health challenges. This placement runs as soon as possible through December 2026 (subject to change) at a local campus with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Position 2 is a long-term substitute role at another area school, helping students through an extended assignment from October 2026 to January 2027 (specific dates to be determined).

Key Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Social Work or a closely related field
• Active Pennsylvania State Social Worker license
• Pennsylvania Department of Education Educational Specialist certification (Applicants without this certificate can still be consideredemergency certification may be requested.)
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or in education settings is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and advocacy skills

• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school staff to address behavioral, emotional, and family concerns
• Support the development and implementation of intervention strategies and behavioral plans
