Make a meaningful impact by supporting students through a contract role as a School Social Worker. This position offers the opportunity to work onsite near Irwin, PA, during the summer school period from June 18, 2026, to July 17, 2026. In this role, you'll provide services to a manageable caseload of 12 students across two nearby locations, helping them reach their full potential in a supportive educational environment. This position is structured for 20 hours per week, giving you the chance to create a genuine connection with each student.

Qualifications:

• Valid PS SSW license required
• Previous experience as a Social Worker in a school or comparable setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and caseloads while maintaining a supportive presence for students
• Organized, compassionate, and adaptable to evolving needs of the school community

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans for students
• Collaborate with educators, families, and outside agencies to ensure seamless service delivery
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation for all student interactions and services provided
• Deliver direct interventions, counseling, and crisis support to students in need
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive school climate for all learners
