Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota School Social Worker (SSW) license
  • Demonstrated experience as a school social worker
  • Ability to serve both general education and special education K-5 students
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect social work services to general ed and special ed students, K-5
  • Collaborate with education staff, families, and outside agencies to support student needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement intervention strategies, and monitor progress
  • Advocate for student welfare and contribute to IEP processes
  • Maintain detailed case records and documentation in accordance with school policies
