Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a current Illinois Social Worker (IL SW) license
• Previous experience in a K-12 school environment is highly valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and school staff
• Capability to adapt to varying caseloads and school assignments as needed
• Compassionate approach, with a commitment to advocacy and promoting students social-emotional well-being

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and counseling services to students, addressing a variety of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development as required
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation on student progress and interventions
• Serve as a resource and advocate for families in accessing community and school-based supports
