Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Michigan School Social Worker License required
• Previous experience in a school setting, especially with early childhood populations, preferred
• Strong understanding of social-emotional development in young children
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs
• Excellent communication, evaluation, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and screenings to assess students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement individualized strategies and interventions for early childhood students
• Provide direct social work servicesincluding counseling, trauma-informed support, and crisis interventionto a caseload of fewer than 10 students
• Assist with behavior response planning and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to address challenges
• Maintain accurate and timely records of services, communications, and interventions
