Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Social Worker

  • Strong understanding of intervention strategies, crisis response, and support services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity

  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement effective intervention plans
  • Identifying resources within the school and community to support student needs
  • Supporting crisis intervention and helping students navigate life transitions

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of school-wide programs that promote positive mental health
