Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a contract school social worker supporting K-12 or exclusively high school populations. Two positions are available: one serving the full K-12 range and the other focused solely on high school caseloads. Both roles offer the opportunity to collaborate with educational teams and families, fostering positive outcomes for students at every stage of their academic journey.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Social Worker
  • Experience supporting students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information professionally
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 plans, and relevant school-based documentation
  • Resourceful, organized, and responsive to student and family needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct social work services to students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges
  • Conduct needs assessments, crisis interventions, and develop behavioral intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrative staff to support student success
  • Facilitate communication between home, school, and community resources
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEPs, and case conferences
  • Advocate for student welfare and access to educational support services
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all reporting requirements
