This opportunity is designed for a dedicated professional excited to make a difference in the lives of 4th and 5th graders. The assignment runs from September 28, 2026, through December 18, 2026, with daily hours from 8:15am to 3:45pm. Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a School Social Worker is required
- Relevant experience working within school environments
- Strong understanding of the unique social-emotional and behavioral needs of upper elementary students
- Proficiency in preparing and updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills for working with staff, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support to students in grades 4 and 5
- Update and initial IEPs as necessary and ensure compliance with all requirements
- Attend meetings with educational teams, families, and related service providers
- Case manage assigned students, monitoring progress and coordinating effective interventions
- Foster an inclusive and supportive atmosphere that encourages student growth and well-being
