Make a meaningful difference in the lives of upper elementary students as a School Social Worker this fall. This contract opportunity supports grades 4 and 5 and offers the chance to work within a dynamic and supportive school environment near Holland, MI. Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience supporting elementary-aged students, especially upper grades, is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education procedures
• Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to case manage and foster relationships with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional support and crisis intervention to students in grades 4 and 5
• Conduct assessments and collect data to assist with IEP development and progress monitoring
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, contribute to team discussions, and maintain necessary documentation
• Initiate or update IEPs, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices
• Serve as a liaison between school, family, and community resources
