Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students as a School Social Worker across a dynamic educational environment. Two positions are now available: one supporting a diverse K-12 population, and a second focusing exclusively on high school caseloads. Both roles offer the chance to make a profound impact on students' social, emotional, and academic well-being in an inclusive, supportive setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
• Develop, implement, and monitor intervention strategies to support student success
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address and overcome barriers to learning
• Conduct risk assessments and crisis intervention when needed
• Contribute to IEP and 504 plan development and ongoing case management
• Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community agencies to ensure holistic support
• Document services and maintain records in accordance with school policies and state regulations
• Deliver professional development and consult with faculty regarding behavioral and mental health supports

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Active state licensure or eligibility as a School Social Worker
• Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students (K-12 position covers all; second position is high school only)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with school-based interventions and special education processes is preferred
