Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for social work certification in schools
• Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Compassionate approach to working with students and families from diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group sessions to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement intervention strategies in collaboration with educators and student support teams
• Assist students and families in accessing community resources and services
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations for student support plans
• Advocate for students and promote a positive, inclusive school environment
• Maintain accurate and confidential records according to district policies and legal requirements
