This contract position is ideal for a dedicated Social Worker with school-based experience, looking to start as soon as possible and continue through the end of the current academic year. Youll have the opportunity to foster a positive, inclusive environment, working closely with students, teachers, and families in the greater Hampshire, IL area.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Social Work (SW) license required
• Previous school-based social work experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to build rapport with students across various age groups
• Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect social work services to students as part of an educational team
• Assess students social and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized support plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success and well-being
• Conduct group and individual counseling sessions
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs and intervention strategies
• Maintain consistent documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and district guidelines
