Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker.
• Previous experience working as a social worker in a school-based setting preferred.
• Strong collaborative skills for working with students, families, teachers, and administrators.
• Knowledge of diverse disabilities and the ability to adapt interventions to meet individual student needs.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing emotional support to students.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to monitor progress and develop tailored intervention strategies.
• Conduct assessments, write and implement behavior plans, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Connect students and families with community resources and advocate for needed supports.
• Document all sessions, maintain compliance with district and state paperwork requirements, and ensure confidentiality.
• Engage in professional development and stay current on best practices within the field.
