The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 5th, 2026, giving you the chance to build strong, supportive relationships with students, families, and school staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid School Social Worker Certification or LCSW/MSW, with eligibility to work in Michigan schools
• Experience working in a K-12 school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of social-emotional learning, crisis intervention, and behavioral strategies
• Collaborative skills to communicate and partner with educators, families, and community resources
• Compassion, flexibility, and a genuine drive to support the diverse needs of students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and social-emotional support to students on your caseload
• Develop individualized plans to address academic, behavioral, and mental health needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administration, and special education teams to support student success
• Engage families, offering resources and guidance as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough, professional documentation of interventions and progress
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive school environment
