This full-time role runs from August 25th to mid-October, providing crucial coverage during a maternity leave. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Social Worker license is required
• Experience serving school-aged children with a range of behavioral and academic challenges
• Strong understanding of special education processes and supporting students with disabilities
• Familiarity with response-to-intervention and positive behavior supports
• Ability to work independentlyno supervision is provided
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional support, counseling, and direct interventions for students across assigned campuses
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies that increase student success
• Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor progress, track data, and maintain detailed records in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Advocate for services and resources ensuring every student receives appropriate support
• Serve as a liaison between families, staff, and community agencies as needed
