This opportunity seeks experienced Social Workers to support a K-5 school located in Golden, CO. The role involves conducting student assessments, re-evaluations, and evaluations, essential to the special education process. Full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time (15 hours per week) schedules are available, Monday through Friday, with all work conducted onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive assessments, re-evaluations, and evaluations for students in kindergarten through fifth grade
- Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings in person to present assessment results to parents
- Collaborate closely with the IEP team to ensure compliance with educational regulations and complete the necessary documentation
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with school staff and families
Qualifications:
- Valid Social Worker license for the state of Colorado
- School Service Provider (SSP) Certificate
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school teams
Location:
- Onsite position based in Golden, Colorado at an elementary school serving K-5 students
