Based near Fremont, MI, you'll collaborate within a dynamic environment, working 35 hours per week to foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that promotes the academic and social-emotional well-being of students.

Role Qualifications:

• Hold a Master's degree in Social Work.
• Current state licensure as a School Social Worker, or eligibility to obtain this credential.
• Experience working with school-aged children or adolescents in educational or clinical settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for building relationships with students, families, and staff.
• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social-emotional and behavioral support to students, including individual and group counseling.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans and support systems.
• Participate in IEP or 504 meetings, providing expertise on social, emotional, and environmental factors affecting student learning.
• Connect families with available community services and resources.
• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all federal, state, and district policies and procedures.
• Advocate for student needs while promoting positive school climate initiatives.
