This opportunity is for an experienced School Social Worker to support elementary students during the 2026/2027 school year. Serving a caseload of 30 to 40 students, this role plays a critical part in promoting students' social and emotional well-being within a supportive school environment located in Oregon, Illinois. The position is contract-based and offers a 37.5-hour weekly schedule, providing consistency throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
• Perform assessments and develop strategies to support students academic and social success
• Connect families with community resources and services as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed or certified School Social Worker credential
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of community resources and referral procedures
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 40 students effectively

Location: Oregon, Illinois
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
