Desired Qualifications:

• Valid social work licensure, with authorization to work in educational settings
• Experience providing services in elementary, middle, and/or high school environments
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
• Ability to build rapport with students, families, and school staff from diverse backgrounds
• Skilled in crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and resource coordination
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Commitment to promoting equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students social, emotional, or behavioral needs
• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions tailored to students developmental stages
• Partner with teachers and administrators to develop strategies for student support and intervention
• Facilitate referrals to community resources and collaborate with external agencies when needed
• Engage families in the educational process, providing guidance and advocacy
• Contribute to the development and implementation of behavior or intervention plans
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in line with school requirements
