A contract position is available for a Social Worker in a school setting, serving students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This role is based in Franklin, MI, and offers an opportunity to support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of diverse student populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and support services to students at elementary, middle, and high school levels.
• Conduct assessments to identify students social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and community resources to develop and implement intervention plans.
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions to address issues such as bullying, family challenges, and mental health concerns.
• Assist in crisis intervention and provide guidance on behavioral management.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications:

• Licensed or certified social worker with relevant state credentials.
• Experience working in school environments, preferably across multiple grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school).
• Strong understanding of child development and adolescent psychology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to manage case documentation and maintain confidentiality.
