Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid School Social Worker certification or eligibility in the state
• Experience supporting students in elementary, middle, or high school, or across K-12
• Deep understanding of counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral management
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Adaptability and empathy when working with diverse populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct support services, including individual and group counseling
• Assess student needs and develop appropriate support strategies
• Facilitate interventions that foster positive behaviors and social-emotional growth
• Serve as a resource for staff and consult with teachers regarding classroom strategies
• Support students and families in accessing community resources
• Maintain meticulous documentation and progress notes
• Participate in IEP meetings and support the development of student plans
