Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Social Worker

  • Compassion, cultural awareness, and a commitment to student advocacy
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct counseling and support services to students individually and in groups
  • Assess student needs and develop tailored intervention plans
  • Serve as an advocate for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and external agencies for holistic support
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and maintain accurate, confidential records
  • Lead programs that promote positive social skills and emotional wellness
  • Support the development and implementation of behavior plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and student support processes
