Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work.
  • Current, full licensure and MDE certification as a School Social Worker (either Full Approval or Certificate through the Michigan Dept of Education, or SSW 310 credential letter with application started).
  • MI State Social Worker license (LARA).
  • Experience working with Special Education students is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver intervention support to K-12 students, including small/moderate groups and 1:1 sessions.
  • Address social and emotional learning needs, helping students achieve academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to build supportive educational environments.
  • Provide expert guidance in response to crises, advocating for students wellbeing.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to compliance with all required guidelines and regulations.
