Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Active state licensure or eligibility as a School Social Worker
• Experience delivering support services in elementary, middle, or high school environments
• Strong understanding of student development, crisis intervention, and school-based resources
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport
• Familiarity with special education processes, Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and Section 504 plans is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial student assessments and provide ongoing individual and group counseling
• Develop and implement strategies to address attendance, academic, behavioral, and social challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Facilitate referrals to external agencies and advocate for student access to community resources
• Participate in special education team meetings and contribute to IEP development
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and comply with ethical and legal standards
