Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in social work or related field required
  • Current licensure as a school social worker (or eligibility for Washington state licensure)
  • Previous experience working in school or youth-focused settings is strongly preferred
  • Well-versed in crisis intervention, counseling, and resource referrals
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Cultural competency and a commitment to equity in education
  • Background clearance and compliance with school district requirements

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions for students dealing with emotional, social, or behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop supportive strategies for student success
  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs and implement targeted interventions
  • Serve as a valuable resource for crisis prevention and responsive services within the school community
  • Coordinate with community agencies and resources to connect students and families with additional support
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams, IEP meetings, and contribute to student support plans
  • Maintain meticulous records in accordance with district and state policies

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.00 to $49.92. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
