Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in social work or related field required
- Current licensure as a school social worker (or eligibility for Washington state licensure)
- Previous experience working in school or youth-focused settings is strongly preferred
- Well-versed in crisis intervention, counseling, and resource referrals
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Cultural competency and a commitment to equity in education
- Background clearance and compliance with school district requirements
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions for students dealing with emotional, social, or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop supportive strategies for student success
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and implement targeted interventions
- Serve as a valuable resource for crisis prevention and responsive services within the school community
- Coordinate with community agencies and resources to connect students and families with additional support
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams, IEP meetings, and contribute to student support plans
- Maintain meticulous records in accordance with district and state policies

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.00 to $49.92. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
