Job Description

A School Social Worker position is available in Evanston, IL, offering an onsite contract role supporting students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. This role is ideal for professionals dedicated to fostering the emotional and social well-being of young learners in a school setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing individual and group counseling services to students K-5
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs
  • Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans

  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain accurate documentation
