Make a meaningful impact as a school-based social worker supporting students, educators, and families in an engaging K-8 environment as well as part of a dynamic preschool team. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to collaborate on IEP goals, provide vital compliance support, and ensure the wellbeing of students across a diverse school community. Youll be working onsite alongside passionate education professionals from now through the end of May 2027, dedicating 35 hours per week across multiple student populations.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Psychologist License for Colorado
• Valid CDE Certification
• Previous experience as a school social worker in a K-8 or preschool setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development, special education regulations, and compliance requirements
• Commitment to working fully onsite; virtual/remote work is not available for this assignment

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with IEP teams to develop, monitor, and support student goals
• Provide direct support and consultation to special education staff and classroom teachers
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and contribute to eligibility determinations as required
• Offer counseling, crisis intervention, and community resource referrals to students and families
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation related to student progress and service delivery
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students
