Job Description
A licensed School Psychologist is needed to provide essential mental health and educational support services within a high school setting in El Prado, NM. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year and offers a hybrid onsite schedule with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for high school students.
- Collaborate with educators, social workers, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services.
- Support students social, emotional, and behavioral development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico license as a School Psychologist is required.
- Experience working in school settings with a focus on adolescent populations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a high caseload effectively while maintaining quality care.
Location: El Prado, New Mexico a hybrid onsite work arrangement allows for flexibility while ensuring onsite presence for direct student support and team collaboration.
