As a valued member of the educational team, youll address the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of young learners, collaborate closely with teachers, and be instrumental in fostering a positive, inclusive school community.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Minnesota SSW license, required
• Demonstrated school-based social work experience
• Solid understanding of K-5 child development and interventions
• Comfortable working with both general education and special education populations
• Excellent communication and case management skills
• Compassionate, proactive, and collaborative professional mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and counseling to students in both general and special education classrooms
• Develop and implement individualized plans and interventions for students in need
• Conduct assessments, maintain confidential records, and document progress
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to address student concerns and develop strategies for success
• Offer crisis intervention and mediation as needed
• Serve as an advocate for students social and emotional wellbeing
