Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid State of Michigan School Social Worker License or eligibility
• Previous experience providing services in elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Strong understanding of childhood and adolescent development
• Ability to develop and implement meaningful intervention strategies
• Excellent communication, advocacy, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of evidence-based best practices, including crisis intervention and support for diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional services to students, both individually and in groups
• Conduct assessments and support students experiencing academic or behavioral challenges
• Partner with parents, teachers, and staff to develop and monitor individualized plans
• Lead and participate in team meetings, including IEPs and MTSS
• Advocate for students needs within school protocols and community resources
• Respond promptly to crisis situations with sensitivity and professionalism
• Promote a positive, inclusive climate for all students and staff
