Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid credentials as a School Social Worker (or eligibility for certification)
• Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school populations
• Strong background in crisis intervention, counseling, and case management
• Comfortable managing confidential student records and documentation
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and special education requirements is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional support, counseling, and interventions tailored to students individual needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies that support academic and social success
• Assess students social and emotional functioning to recommend appropriate resources and interventions
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, contributing to educational planning and student support
• Deliver crisis intervention and mediation as needed
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
