Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work
• Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker
• Prior experience with K-12 students in a school environment
• Proficient clinical assessment and behavioral intervention skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated strength in team collaboration within multidisciplinary groups

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support both general education and special education students' social and emotional growth
• Lead as the 504 Plan Coordinator, ensuring compliance and consistency across the student body
• Deliver direct social-emotional support and implement individual and group behavioral interventions
• Foster effective collaboration with school staff, families, and administrators
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive school culture

Work Details:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Onsite role in Detroit, MI
• Contract runs from ASAP through 6/23/2027
