This contract opportunity, available immediately through the end of the school year, allows you to directly impact the lives of elementary and secondary students in Dearborn, MI.

As a School Social Worker, youll collaborate closely with another experienced professional, sharing a manageable caseload of approximately 15 students. These students include both general and special education populations, offering a diverse and meaningful experience each day. Your schedule will follow full-time hours, 8am to 3pm, enabling you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a real difference.

What Were Looking For:

• Active Michigan School Social Worker (SSW) license
• Prior experience working within school settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
• Skilled in delivering counseling, developing interventions, and supporting Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide group/individual counseling
• Partner with teachers and school staff to develop supportive strategies for students
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate case notes
• Contribute to IEP meetings and implementation of services
• Serve as an advocate for student needs, connecting families to community and educational resources
