Based near Detroit, MI, this position focuses on direct support within a school setting and offers the chance to collaborate closely with educators, families, and the broader school community.

Key Qualifications:

• Active School Social Worker credentials required
• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) is essential
• Experience working with elementary or middle school students is highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite and provide in-person services
• Competence in IEP implementation, documentation, and facilitating support services

Responsibilities:

• Deliver social-emotional and behavioral support to 5th and 6th grade students
• Conduct individual and group interventions and counseling sessions
• Participate in and support IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and administrators
• Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Facilitate connections between families and community resources as needed
