As a dedicated, onsite school-based social worker, youll provide crucial support to students across a variety of categories, focusing on both special education and general education populations. With a steady schedule of 35 hours per week, youll collaborate with staff to address behavioral and social-emotional needs, helping students build positive foundations for learning and personal growth.
Key qualifications:
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) in school social work
- Experience in providing services to diverse student populations, especially in a school setting
- Strong background in IEP support and developing intervention strategies
- Ability to deliver individual, small group, and large group sessions tailored to students behavioral and emotional development
- Skilled at modifying resources and supports to address varying learning styles and backgrounds
Core responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver services to special education students, maintaining evidence of planning when requested
- Offer short- and long-term counseling services to referred students coping with social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties
- Collaborate with staff to develop and implement effective Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies
- Engage families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate students academic and personal success
- Continuously modify interventions and support plans to adapt to students evolving needs

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.00 to $65.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
