This onsite opportunity in Denver, CO seeks a School Social Worker to support a high school caseload. This role involves providing essential social work services to students, collaborating with educators, families, and community resources to promote student well-being and academic success.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans tailored to students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Delivering counseling and crisis intervention services
- Collaborating with school staff and external agencies to coordinate support and resources
- Advocating for students rights and access to necessary services
- Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid DORA School Social Worker (SSW) license
- Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider license with endorsement for school social work
- Experience working within high school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, onsite position
- 35-40 hours per week
- Based in Denver, Colorado
