Youll work directly with students, parents, and IEP teams, contributing essential expertise both as an evaluator and advocate. Whether youre looking for a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week or a part-time commitment of 15 hours per week (Monday through Friday), flexibility is available to fit your needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Social Worker license for Colorado
- SSP Certificate required
- Experience working in school settings, especially with elementary-aged students
- Strong communication skills for explaining evaluation results to families and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to perform comprehensive assessments, re-evaluations, and evaluations
- Passion for fostering a positive learning environment for every student
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments, re-evaluations, and evaluations in a K-5 setting
- Attend IEP meetings onsite to present findings, help develop plans, and ensure compliance
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and the IEP team for optimal student support
- Maintain detailed records of assessments and provide ongoing recommendations
