Key Qualifications:

  • Current Social Worker license for Colorado
  • SSP Certificate required
  • Experience working in school settings, especially with elementary-aged students
  • Strong communication skills for explaining evaluation results to families and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to perform comprehensive assessments, re-evaluations, and evaluations
  • Passion for fostering a positive learning environment for every student

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student assessments, re-evaluations, and evaluations in a K-5 setting
  • Attend IEP meetings onsite to present findings, help develop plans, and ensure compliance
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and the IEP team for optimal student support
  • Maintain detailed records of assessments and provide ongoing recommendations
