Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as a School Social Worker (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents
• Compassionate, resourceful, and committed to student well-being

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and interventions to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral issues
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to support student success
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to create a positive learning environment
• Facilitate referrals to community resources and external agencies when appropriate
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEP/504 plans
• Maintain confidential, accurate records and document intervention outcomes
