Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Social Worker licensure appropriate to school settings
• Experience with K-12, high school, elementary, middle, or kindergarten students preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with families, staff, and community partners
• Ability to assess student needs and develop targeted interventions
• Flexibility to adapt support strategies for individual students and diverse groups
• Comfortable managing confidential information and sensitive situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students in need of emotional, behavioral, or social support
• Develop, implement, and monitor intervention and support plans addressing academic and non-academic barriers to success
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to coordinate resources, referrals, and ongoing support
• Provide crisis intervention and contribute to school-wide positive behavioral support initiatives
• Participate in team meetings, Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning, or 504 plan development as appropriate
• Support a positive and inclusive school culture that values each student's well-being
