Step into a pivotal role supporting students social and emotional growth throughout their academic journey. Two distinct positions are available: one is focused on a K-12 caseload engaging with students at all levels, while the other is dedicated specifically to high school students.

Ideal candidates have experience working in schools, are passionate about student advocacy, and excel at building strong relationships with diverse populations. Your ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and outside agencies will be essential in fostering a supportive school environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Active state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker
• Demonstrated success working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
• Understanding of child and adolescent development, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in IEP meetings, behavioral assessment, and multi-tiered systems of support (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address academic and behavioral concerns
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans where applicable
• Facilitate group sessions and classroom guidance activities addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Serve as a liaison between students, families, community resources, and school staff
• Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality in compliance with district and state regulations
