Key Qualifications:

• Active Social Worker license/certification (required)
• Previous experience in a K12 school setting, working with elementary, middle, and high school populations
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
• Effective collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Proficient in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and social/emotional learning strategies
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with ethical standards

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify student strengths and areas needing support
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educators and families
• Provide direct counseling and support services to students individually and in groups
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote positive student outcomes
• Facilitate referrals to community resources as appropriate
• Lead or co-facilitate professional development or training on relevant social-emotional topics
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and district policies
