Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work
• Active Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker
• Prior experience supporting K-12 students in a school environment
• Expertise in clinical assessment, intervention, and behavior management
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the 504 Plan Coordinator, leading efforts to ensure compliance and student support
• Provide social-emotional support and direct interventions to students, fostering positive behavioral outcomes
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and administrators to address student needs and create a supportive learning environment
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in student planning meetings
• Advocate for students by connecting them with school and community resources
• Deliver both individual and group counseling sessions as needed
