Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid and current School Social Worker Certification (emergency or temporary licenses are not accepted)
• Experience working in educational settings, ideally supporting students with autism or similar needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, staff, and families
• Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to a dynamic environment
• Compassion, patience, and a collaborative spirit to contribute positively to the program

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted counseling and support to students participating in the Autism Summer School program
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary collaboration with teachers, support staff, and administration
• Develop and implement strategies to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
• Facilitate communication and partnerships between school, families, and outside resources as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to program progress monitoring
