Support the social and emotional development of 5th and 6th grade students through meaningful in-person engagement. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Masters degree in Social Work required
• Michigan licensure as a School Social Worker
• Experience supporting elementary and middle school students, preferably with 5th and 6th grade caseloads
• Ability to provide in-person services; remote work is not available for this position
• Skilled in IEP (Individualized Education Program) implementation, documentation, and related support
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Passion for fostering student growth and well-being in educational settings

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect social work services to students to address academic, social, and emotional needs
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of IEPs, including assessment, documentation, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to design and carry out effective intervention strategies
• Provide crisis intervention, group and individual counseling, and connect students to community resources as needed
• Lead or participate in professional development and school initiatives to support student welfare
