Qualifications & Experience:

• Current license or eligibility to practice as a School Social Worker in Michigan
• Proven experience supporting elementary, middle, or high school populations
• Familiarity with K-12 educational environments, or willingness to engage across multiple grade levels
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
• Dedication to fostering safe, supportive, and inclusive learning communities
• Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families in diverse settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social work services and counseling to individual students and groups
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs, strengths, and barriers to learning
• Develop and implement student support plans and interventions
• Work as an active member of school support teams to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional issues
• Partner with parents, teachers, and community agencies to coordinate resources
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and comply with district and state guidelines
• Provide crisis intervention, advocacy, and referrals when necessary
