Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their emotional and social growth as a school-based Social Worker. This onsite, full-time contract opportunity is designed for an experienced professional who is ready to partner with a dedicated educational team near Davison, MI.

Essential Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited college or university
• Fully licensed SW or MSW Limited License in Michigan (MI-SW)
• Hold one of the following: Preliminary School Social Worker Certificate (PSSWC), Professional School Social Worker Certificate (PSWC), or School Social Worker Permit (SSWP)
• Current LARA license required
• Background in school or youth-centered environments is preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group counseling to students, addressing social, behavioral, and emotional concerns
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess student needs and develop intervention strategies
• Participate in assessments, develop plans, and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Advocate for students well-being and help connect families to community resources and support services
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote a safe, inclusive, and positive educational setting
